To extend the life of your candle and ensure even burning, follow these practical tips:
- First use: Burn the candle for at least 1-2 hours, or until the surface of the wax is completely liquid to the edges of the container. This will prevent the formation of tunnels and optimize combustion.
- Cutting the wick: Wooden wicks, completely free of metals and toxins, require a different use compared to classic cotton wicks. It is essential to keep the wooden bit very short at all times.
- Before each use, always trim your wick, removing all charred wood from previous burns. You can easily cut it using suitable scissors or another suitable tool.
- Keep Clean: Make sure the candle stays clean and free of debris for optimal burning.
- Safe location: Always place the candle on a stable surface, away from drafts. Make sure it is out of the reach of children and pets.
- Burning Time: Avoid letting the candle burn for more than 4 consecutive hours to extend its life.
